Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. H. Smith and Rayma Smith of Lubbock; and her husband Charles Ricks. She is survived by: her friend John Dunnam; her sister Debbie Barden (Dave) of Seattle, WA; her children, Jennifer Busick (Richard) of Dallas and Ron Stricklin of Houston; and her grandchildren, Kennedy Warren (Alex) of San Antonio and Jackson Busick of Dallas. She is also survived by family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Indiana Avenue Baptist Church (9507 Indiana Ave, Lubbock, TX 79423).
