We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Lucia Diaz in Lubbock, Texas, born in Yorktown, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by : her husband Faustino Diaz; her children, Francisco Diaz, Manuel Diaz, Jessie Diaz and Juanita Diaz; her siblings, Lolo Garza, Robert Garza, Adan Garza, Cruz Garza, Apolonio Garza, Evita Garza, Paule Pena, Amelia Garcia, Edelia Guerra and Juana Vela; her children, Johnny (Josephina Diaz), Faustino Diaz Jr., Rosa Diaz, Gloria (Louie Garcia), Yesenia (Tony Groth), Yirma Aguilar and Linda Diaz; and her sister Elvira Garcia. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Broadway Funeral Directors (1901 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
