It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Wine of Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Mary Ellen Wine to show support.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nora Annie (Holiday); and her siblings, Lorraine (Chaffin), Helen (Lero), Lila Mae (Wayne), Sonny, Roland and Mattie (Smith).
She is survived by: her children, Bobby (Sherry) and Gaye (Mike); her grandchildren, John Robert Wine (Courtney) of James Justin and Whitney Elizabeth Wine; and her great grandchildren, Sasha Irina Wine and Stetson James Wine. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, 24 great nieces and nephews, and 25 great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the College Station (1637 Texas Avenue 77840). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wheelock Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
