With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Jay Cunningham (Lubbock, Texas), born in Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Jay Cunningham. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Anne Cunningham Kennedy (Hardy); his wife Alice Cunningham; his children, Erin Cunningham (Preston) and Andrew Cunningham (Megan); his grandchildren, Ellie, Meredith, Kathryn and Peyton Cunningham; and his siblings, Marilyn Fortezzo (Jeff), James Cunningham (Brenda) and Laura Gillen. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family of Mike Cunningham has designated Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3321 33rd Street, Lubbock, Texas 79410, or Hospice of Lubbock, 3702 21st Street, Lubbock, Texas 79410, for memorial donations in his memory.
