She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Haskell and Gladys Pierce (Cruse); her son Craig Hughes; and her siblings, Bill, Sam, Tony, Dick, Mickey, Neal, Gerry Pierce and Betty Blair.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Hales (Rick) of Canyon and Shauna Frisbie (Gary) of Lubbock; her daughter-in-law Jitty Hughes of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Hacee Hughes-Postar (Michael) of Lubbock, Paxton Hughes of Rockford, MI, Chance Hales of Ft. Worth, Cade Hales of Canyon, Zane Frisbie (Angeli) of Dallas, Sonnet Frisbie of Washington, DC and Nash Frisbie of Austin; and her sister Cherry Ested (Johnnie) of Wichita Falls.
