He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, Leah and Alex; his wife Maria Teresa Kolyer; his children, Carmen Kolyer Weaver of Lubbock and Richard Kolyer of Mountain View; his parents, Richard Ward Kolyer and Catherine "Kittie" Kolyer; and his sister Jeannie Kolyer. He was also cherished by his children, grand-children and great-grandchildren.
