He was predeceased by: his wife Romana Reyna Ojeda; his parents, Jose Ojeda and Agustina Ojeda; his son Robert Ojeda, Jr.; his grandson Josiah Jeramichael Ramos; and his siblings, Mayo Herrera, Jesus "Jesse", Arnulfo, Juan, Jose Ojeda and Alicia Ojeda.
He is survived by: his daughter Augustina "Tina" Hurtado of Lubbock; and his siblings, Clemente Martinez, Jr. of Thrall, Texas, Corina Ramirez of Tyler and Matilda Ojeda of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
