He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramiro Rios and Lidia Rios; his brothers, Guadalupe, Jose Luis, Reynaldo, Arturo and Rene; his son Rodolfo Rios Jr.; and his grandson Giancarlo Rios.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rios; his children, Vanessa (Jesse), Melissa (Albert) and Carlos (Liz); and his siblings, Ramiro Rios Jr., Ricardo Rios, Susana Salinas (Juan), Rosalinda Smith (Larry), Anna Maria Whitney (Keith) and Odelia Rios. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven's Abbey Chapel (5740 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
