He is survived by: his wife Nidia; his children, Becky Prieto (Edwin) and Mandi Pruitt (Arlin); his grandchildren, Ava Pruitt, Noah Prieto, David Prieto and Andrew Pruitt; and his siblings, Baltazar Padilla (Avelina), Hector Padilla (Sylvia), Yolanda Murillo (Mario) and Angel Padilla (Anabel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
