She was predeceased by: her parents, S. J. "Jack" McCandless and Clarice McCandless; and her grandson Joshua Sherman. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Sherman (Tammy) of Abernathy and Stacy McAfee (J. W. Hollabaugh) of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Tyler Riddle (Leslie), Kyley Sherman and Kameron Gibson (Chase); her great grandchildren, Boston and Kenzlie Riddle; and her close friend Lynn Keener. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Washington Ave. Christian Church (3800 S Washington St, Amarillo, TX 79110).
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to BSA Hospice of the Southwest.
