With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ditto of Lubbock, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Ditto to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Newton Cearley and Katie Mae Grisham Cearley; her husband Alton Ditto; and her brothers, Kent Cearley and Ted Cearley.
She is survived by: her sons, Doyle Ditto (Sheryl) and Donnie Ditto (Melissa); her grandchildren, Stevie Graves (Travis), Danielle Thomas (James), Garrett Ditto (Sarah), Callie Ditto, Lindsey Lincecum (Eric) and Holly Hunt (Kyle Montemayor); her great grandchildren, Paige, Trevin, Paityn, Emma, Kinsley, Graham, Sawyer, Cole and Harper; her brother Jim Cearley; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Cearley. She is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews she loved.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home - BIG Spring (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church - BIG Spring (2000 FM700, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
