He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Downing and Carma Downing. He is survived by: his children, Victoria Downing, Annalise Rodriguez, Anyssa Downing, Chloe Downing, Grant Downing and Blake Downing; and his brother Todd Hahn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Victory Life Church (12401 Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX 79424).
