He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Ward Alfred and Celia Zadie Spears; and his sons, Randall Alfred and Harold Ashton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Loriane Ashton Alfred of Diboll; his children, Paul (Ashley Havard) of Huntington and Paula (Chris Mixon) of Hudson; his daughter-in-law Bethine Sueck of Hudson; and his siblings, Titus Alfred of Corrigan, TX, Jessie Alfred of Conroe, TX and Dorothy Lyman of Salem, OR.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
