It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Ruthe Jack of Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruthe Marie (Hamon) and Lester Alton Crose; her brother John Crose; and her great grandchild Olivia Ruthe Myers. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Merle "Ron" Jack of Lufkin; her daughter Diane; her son-in-law Greg Bondurant of Auburndale, Florida; her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Barbara Jack of Lufkin, Texas; her daughter Shelly Wood of Ormond Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Tommy Mulling), Robby (Caitlyn Bondurant), Ruthe (Tim Myers), Josh Jack, Katie Jack and Maggie Wood; and her siblings-in-law, Jesse Jack of Angels Camp, California and Dixie Crose of Mooresville, Indiana. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
