She was predeceased by: her husband Sherman Cole; her great grandchild Jordan Swint; her parents, Maggie Roberts Taylor and Daniel Taylor Sr.; and her siblings, C. B. Haffert, Ethel Stubblefield, George Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Mandy Taylor, Daniel Taylor Jr., Robert Taylor, JewelineTanner and Finnis Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Renfro (Angelo Bryant) and Cheppelle Martin (Kevin Martin); her grandchildren, Latesia Renfro, Jared Renfro, Chantelle Powell and Joshua Powell; and her great grandchild Madisynn Swint.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Mortuary (1600 Sayers St, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Goodwill Church-Lufkin (812 E Lufkin Ave, Lufkin, TX 75901). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
