“I remember Mrs. Pierre when I attended New Zion Baptist in Lufkin, Texas. She was a very talented piano and organ player. She spoke highly that she was a member of the Delta Sigma Theta. I will miss Mrs. Pierre for her love and devotion she had toward the young at New Zion and in the Lufkin, Texas community. She taught school in the Lufkin School District. I will forever appreciate the love and kindness that the Pierre have shown to my family God bless both Dr. and Dr. and Pierre”
