Clifford Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 93, Clifford Schmidt of Lufkin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret Schmidt Kolar. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Schmidt of Lufkin; his children, Terry Schmidt of Lufkin, Wayne Schmidt (Sherry) of LaGrange, David Schmidt (Shirley) of Atascocita and Pam Ainsworth (Trey) of Houston; his grandchildren, Julie Cook (Jon), Jay Schmidt (Tracie), Kyle Schmidt (Lauren), Lauren Neal (Christian), Jessica McMinn (Josh), Thomas Ainsworth and Travis Ainsworth; his sister-in-law Edith Simpson of Orange; and his sibling's children, Melissa Helweg of Seguin, Mike Kolar of Horseshoe Bay and Mark Kolar of Highlands. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
