It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Mezger of Lufkin, Texas, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Adolph Richard Mezger; his granddaughter Natalie Chavez; and his grandparents, Clem and Bea Berauer. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Stewart (Berauer) of Lake Jackson, TX; his wife Tisha Mendez of Lufkin, TX; his sons, Dylan Mezger of Lufkin, TX, Tyler Mezger of Lufkin, TX and Anthony Mendez; his daughter-in-law Laura Farwell of Hudson, TX; his daughters, Kristen Mendez of Lufkin, TX and Brittany Mendez; his son-in-law D. J. Parker of Lufkin, TX; his grandchildren, Zoey, Matthew, Lauren, Kamryn, Noah, Blake, Benson and Karson; his brother Todd; his sister-in-law Karen Mezger of Corrigan, TX; his brother T. J.; his sister-in-law Melissa Mezger of Lake Jackson, TX; his brother Joey; and his sister-in-law Patricia Mezger of Lake Jackson, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
