It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Duran of Lufkin, Texas, born in Carthage, Texas, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren A. Duran and Sybil Crews Duran (Lacy). He is survived by: his wife Mary Leah Duran; his daughters, Lacy (Todd Redmond) and Liz (Brett Brantley); his grandchildren, Bretton Brantley of Dallas, Andrew Redmond of Dallas, Warren Redmond of Dallas and Phoebe Brantley of Dallas; his brother Ross Duran; and his sister-in-law Nancy Goss Duran of Portland, Oregon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
