He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Garrison of Lufkin; his daughter Carene; his son-in-law Jon Hammond of Lufkin; his son Derek; his daughter-in-law Katie Garrison of Lufkin; his son Jared; his daughter-in-law Marissa Garrison of Zurich, Switzerland; his grandchildren, Ethan Hammond, Miley Hammond, Millie Hammond, Dawson Rex Garrison, Quinn Garrison, May Garrison, Hensley Garrison, Austin Garrison and Owen Garrison; his brother Bill Garrison; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Garrison.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Joy Lutheran Churchoy Lutheran Church (4003 Daniel McCall Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
