She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clarence Herring (Porter Eugene Whittet) and Lola Mae Ivy Herring; her stepfather Paul McClevinus; her brother Bertie Raymond Herring; her sister-in-law Bonita Herring; her siblings, Charlie Raymond Herring and Phyllis Elaine Stevens; her brother-in-law Allen "Steve" Stevens; and her niece Kathy Lynn Evans of Midwest.

She is survived by: her daughter Alisa; her son-in-law Ken Gould of Trinity, TX; her children, Donna, Michael Edward Deason of Oklahoma and Walter Eugene Whittet; her daughter-in-law Dianne C McCormack of Siloam Springs, AR; her daughter Jerri Renee; her son-in-law Virgel D Robertson of Lufkin, TX; her grandchildren, Bobbie Jo (Michael Thomas) of Trinity, TX, Robin Renee (Casey McGraw) of Lufkin, TX, Virgel Dewayne Robertson Jr. of Lufkin, TX, Anastasia McCormack of Siloam Springs, AR, Christian Shultz of Siloam Springs, AR and Parker Bossow of Siloam Springs, AR; her sister Janice; her brother-in-law Mike Poole of Moore, OK; and her sister Paula Kay Rawson McClevinus of Lufkin, TX. She is also survived by other great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
