He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Lucille (Wolfe) and James Ceal Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Boyd of Lufkin; his children, Gary D. Boyd, Jr. (Sharon) of Kennard, Shellie Allen (Chad) of Allentown and Jeff Maxon of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Casin Boyd (Daisy), Chaz Boyd, Danyele Maxon (Tony Rodriguez), Brittany Maxon, Ty Allen, Carson Allen and Ashton Allen; his great grandchildren, Aiden Rodriguez, Otto Sims, Maeve Sims and Paisley Ann Allen; and his sister Lynda Dodd of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
