He is survived by: his wife Glenda Smiley of Lufkin; his sister Gail Alston of Maumelle, Arkansas; his niece Leslie Michel-Alston (family: Eric Alston) of Maumelle, Arkansas; his close friends, Judy Dixon, Jerri Shea, Doug and Patty McKamie; and his pet Lily. He is also survived by nephew, wife and family.
