He was predeceased by: his parents, Transito Diaz (Puebla) and Roman Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Estela Diaz (Trejo) of Lufkin; his children, Jose Daniel Diaz, David (Anna Diaz), Antonio (Dulce Diaz) and Lourdes Diaz; and his son-in-law Nelson Soriano. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews.
