He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Lee Jones and Katie Jones (Lott); his spouse Wessie B. Jones; his children, Ray L. Jones (Shirley) and Darlene; his granddaughter London; his sisters, Maribeth Anglin and Mattie Jackson; his children, Roy L. Jones (Linda), Ross L. Jones (Tennessee Colony), Richard L Jones (Larhonda), Russell L. Jones (Mary), George E. Jones Abu Dhabi (Ethel), Barbra Jones and Joyce Jones Debbie (Baytown); his siblings, Gloria Sheperd, Eloise Hanley (Roy), Sammy Jones (Delores), Reginald Jones (Carolyn) and Terrell Jones (Tracy) of Grapeland, Texas; his uncle Jack Jones; and his aunt Inez Davis. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
