He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Luthenia (McDaniel) and Lathom Casey Jones; and his brother Lendell Jones. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jones of Lufkin; his sons, Gordon William Jones, Jr. (Jones) of Galveston, Byron Thomas Jones (Beth) of Lufkin and Reagan Wesley Jones of Austin; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Jones of Lufkin. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
