She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Russell and Gladys Russell (Armbrust); her former husband Lesley Brooks; her grandson Jared Gilbert; her daughter-in-law Sharon Brooks (Lawson); and her brother-in-law Billy Ray Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Brooks (Lynn) and Monica Gilbert (Richard); her grandchildren, Amber Jones (Leslie), Casey Lynn Brooks, Morgan Milstead (Jayce Reel), Taylor Wier (Matthew) and Lucas Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Adalyn Jones, Penelope Brooks and Ivan Milstead; and her sister Nancy Allen (Russell). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
