We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 88, Jeanette Jordan Dorman of Lufkin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vela Mae (Pride) and Walter Jordan; her spouse Taylor Dorman; her father-in-law August (Mary Dorman); and her aunt Thelma Smithhart (Shug).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Dorman of Lufkin, Michael (Lorraine Dorman) and Kevin (Donna Dorman); her grandchildren, Justin Donnell, Courtney Gorham (Josh), Clark Dorman (Julie), Mallory Dorman, Evan Dorman (Madison), Luke Dorman, Kelsey Waller (Jason), Blake Ford (Meagan) and Madison McGee (Zach); her great grandchildren, Joshua Gorham, Jr., Kendra Gorham, Skylar Gorham, Morgan Horton, Keiley Ford, Kendall Blake Ford, Kenslee McGee, Breck Waller, Lainey Waller and Georgia Dorman; her sister Charlie Mae Mahan of Lufkin; her nephew John (Jamie Mahan) of Lufkin; and her close friends, Jan Robertson and Pam Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
