He is survived by: his wife Cherry Barnes of Lufkin; his children, Danielle Bowser of Nacogdoches and Stephen Barnes of Houston; his son-in-law Jeff Bowser of Nacogdoches; his grandchildren, Elliott Bowser of Nacogdoches, Benjamin Bowser of Nacogdoches and Jessie Bowser of Nacogdoches; his siblings, Jack Barnes of Georgia, Walter Barnes of Georgia, Lanny Barnes of Georgia, Dennis Barnes of Georgia, Bob Barnes of South Carolina and Janice; and his brother-in-law Clem Oreal of Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
