He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Stover and Elouise Stover (Baldridge); and his sister Mary Lancaster. He is survived by: his wife Lynell Stover (Pyle); his son Seth; his children-in-law, Dawn Stover of Nacogdoches, David Polk of Santa Monica, California and Allyson Arnold of Houston; his grandchildren, John David Stover, Hudson Arnold, Nora Polk and Parker Polk; his nephew Derek Lancaster; and his niece Wendy Trinidad.
