He was predeceased by: his parents, Belen Escobedo (Ibarra) and Luciano Escobedo; and his son Alvaro. He is survived by: his wife Maria; and his children, Elia, Mirsa, Norma, Julie, Belen, Lucy, Rosalio, Baltazar and Jose Uriel. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
