He is survived by: his wife Ethel Simms (Phillips) of Lufkin; his children, Kathy (Kenny Bridges), Priscilla (Sheldon Mansfield), Cheryl (Elwin Lamon), Kelvin of Lufkin, Brandy Lamon of Lufkin, Melanie of Lufkin and T. A. Bazor of Lufkin; and his siblings, Coy Simms of Nacogdoches and Connie Goodwin of Lufkin. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
