He was predeceased by: his mother Tena Deaton (Holt). He is survived by: his father Carrol Deaton of Lufkin; his wife Kim Deaton of Lufkin; his daughter Britiany; his son-in-law Donovan Troup of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his son Alexander Taylor; his daughter-in-law Katie Deaton of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Amelia Deaton of Lufkin, Parker Deaton of Lufkin and Sawyer Deaton of Lufkin; his sisters, Holly Deaton of Athens, Tennessee and Rebekah; and his brother-in-law Chris Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
