Lois Chambers Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 4, 2023, at the age of 87, Lois Chambers of Lufkin, Texas, born in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Weaver L. Rutledge and Elda Rutledge; her son John "Jack" Chambers; and her sisters, Kathryn Rutledge and Jeanette Bullock.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley (Patti Chambers), Leslie (Merideth Chambers), Kenneth (Marisa Chambers) and Julie; her son-in-law Mike VanderMate; and her siblings, Lottie Crim of Omaha, Nebraska, W. L. Rutledge of Livingston and Carey (Peggy Rutledge). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, plus 12 in-law grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
