It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynette Monk of Lufkin, Texas, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallie Haug (Retzlaff) and Rev. Edward R. Haug; and her sisters, Cynthia Haug and Maxine Haug. She is survived by: her husband John Monk of Lufkin; her children, Steven Monk (Tami) of Phoenix, Arizona and Kathy Monk Berroth of Phoenix, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Andrea Wright (Matt) of Phoenix, John Berroth of Sioux Falls and Mikayla Monk of Phoenix, Arizona..
