With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Sexton of Lufkin, Texas, born in Temple, Texas, who passed away on June 19, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Gillispie and Dora Dean Gillispie (Cox); her husband Joe Celdon Sexton; and her siblings, Bill Gillispie and Gloris Jaunett Gillispie.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Sexton (Carol) of Milwaukee, Scott Sexton (Andrea) of Salem, Virginia and Andy Sexton (Gina) of Lufkin, Texas; her grandchildren, Lauren Sexton, Katie Sexton, Joseph Sexton (Leighanne), Claire Kerin (James), Monica Lyons (Jacob), Amanda Ryba (Daniel), Kara Glover, Amanda Harrer, Eric Harrer and Kelly Larson; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Sam Gillespie, Devon Ryba, Christopher, Reagan Sexton, Lucus Williams, Lincoln Dake and Blaise Kerin.
