It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maudell Christopher of Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Rev. J. E. Harrell; her husband Howard Christopher; and her daughter Margie Christopher Burton. She is survived by: her children, Church, Linda (Billy Horton), Carol (Butch Carnley) and Tammy (Domenic Cenci); her son-in-law Curtis Burton (Debra) of Lufkin, Texas; her grandchildren, Josh Joseph of Dallas, Zach Joseph of Lufkin, Trey, Ruby Burton of Leander, Sarah, Justin Goss of Anna, Scott Burton of Kerrville, Stephanie, Scott York of Lufkin, Nick, Starla Horton of Forrest, Kristen, Todd Wright of Tyler, Kacie Carnley of Lufkin, Jackie, Domenic and James Cenci of Montreal, Canada; her great grandchildren, Beckham, Cohen, Julia, Hudson, Hunter, Ashton, Gunner, Katelyn, Lailah, Jonah, Finley, Sidney, Lachlan, Paisley, Gavin, Sadie Carnley, Abigail, Morgon, Miah and Sadie Goss; her great great grandchildren, Kylie and Kayson; her sisters, Betty Stanley of Tecumseh and Zella Bunch of Fairfield, Texas; her brother-in-law Billy Joe Christopher; and her aunts, Maudell and Dudie. She is also survived by special friends; and loving caregivers.
