With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin E. Hall of Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Elmer Hall and Flossie Mae Hall (Newman); and his siblings, Eldon Hall, Harold Hall, Doris Yates and Virginia Skarda.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Hall of Lufkin; his daughter Diane; his son-in-law Walter Miller of Lufkin; his daughters, Darlene Weedon of Longview, TX, Debra Hall of Longview, TX, Denise Van Fossen of Longview, TX and Dawn; his son-in-law Sonny Colclasure of Winona, TX; his son Dan; his daughter-in-law Cindy Hall of Willis, TX; his stepson Billy Work (family: Joe Work, Phillip Work); and his brother David Hall of Montello, WI. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
