He is survived by: his parents, R. Dan James and Linda James; his sisters, Melissa (Todd McIlhaney), Carrie (Mark Dixon) and Allison (Charlie Henry); and his siblings' children, Grace Baker (Blake Baker), Katherine Dixon (Wyatt Alexander), Kalli Dixon, Reagan Dixon and Garrett McIlhaney.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lufkin State Supportive Living located in Lufkin.
