It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odile Louise McDonald in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Cope and Mary Rose Cope; her husband Ariel Dennis McDonald Sr.; and her siblings, Eugene Lester "Buddy" Cope, Willie Nolan Cope, Dalton Cope, Ruth Chamberlain and Audrey Bracewell.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis, Peggye McDonald of Canyon Lake, TX, Glen, Karla McDonald of Sante Fe, TX, Mary and Larry Staggs of Lufkin, TX; her grandchildren, Aaron, Shelly McDonald, Andy McDonald (Cristabel), Amanda, Jason Stephens, Stanton Morse, Jenna, Sarah, Joseph Guedry, Micah, Brittany Staggs, Nathan and Melissa Staggs; her great grandchildren, Shelby, Abbie, Alden, Lily, Eliana, Cruse, Luke, Blake and Katherine; and her sister Gladys Ainsworth of China, TX..
