He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabell Johnson, (Tucker) and Perry Elsworth Johnson, Sr.; his son Steven L. Johnson; and his siblings, Shirley Corso, JoAnn Pfeifer, Richard Johnson and Robert Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Loydeanne Johnson of Lufkin; his daughter Lynn; his children-in-law, Steve Adams of Lufkin and Pam Johnson of Lufkin; and his grandchildren, Scott (Torri Adams), Chris (Susan Adams), Stephanie (Jason Conn) and Phillip Johnson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
