He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edgar Cartlidge and Ruby Lucille Smith; his brothers, David Lee Cartlidge and Billy Wayne Cartlidge; and his half-siblings, Frank Edgar Cartlidge Jr. and Hazel Marie Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Cartlidge; his children, Kimberly Denise Harper and Robert Edgar Cartlidge Jr.; his grandchildren, Nicole Rene Franchois, Destiny Brianne Hickingbottom and Robert Edgar Cartlidge III; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Jackson, Bennett and Preston; his brothers, Michael Lynn Cartlidge Sr. and Curtis Ray Cartlidge; and his half-sister Judith Cartlidge.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Patriot Gaurd Riders.
