He is survived by: his wife Betty Vaughn Garbs of Lufkin; his children, Robert Dale Garbs, Jr. (Terry) of Paducah, Lynn Bryan (Tommy) of Lufkin and Rodger Garbs (Charlee) of College Station; and his grandchildren, Aislyn Garbs, Kyle Garbs (Emily), Anna Garbs Russell (Duncan), Reed Garbs and Ross Garbs.
