He is survived by: his children, Shannon Golden of Cullman, AL and Stephanie; his son-in-law Chris Johnson of Huntington; his grandchildren, Jordan (Dakota Cummings) of Lufkin, Skylor Matchett of Austin, TX, Sydney (Ashton Whitton) of Etoile, Cody (Marissa Johnson) of Huntington, Caleb Johnson of Huntington and Derrick Kinney of Huntington; his great grandchildren, Jonah, Banks Cummings, Grace, Avery Collman, Huntleigh, Lily Whitton and Saylor Johnson; his siblings, Nathan Griffith of Milam, TX, George Griffith of Central and Joyce McCarty of Lufkin; his siblings-in-law, Kenny (Casey Akers), George (Lynn Akers) and Melody (Gary Waddell); and his close friends, Ron, Glenda Nerren, Sammy Kirkland, Richard Dykes, Larry, Terri Collier, Shirley Robbins, Ricky Nerren and Gale Stubblefield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
