With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Sargent of Lufkin, Texas, born in Etoile, Texas, who passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Whitehead and Rosa Whitehead (Burnett); her husband James Sargent; and her siblings, Vivian Burnaman and Cullen Whitehead. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
