He is survived by: his wife Marian Montes (Cernosek); his stepdaughters, Laurie Krueger Stamper (Gregg) of Bullard and Sandee Wilkinson (Ken) of New Ulm; his grandson Casey L. Dunn of Tyler; and his siblings, Paul Montes (Bonnie) of Tatum, Frank Montes (Linda) of Tomball, Irie Montes (Karen) of Nacogdoches, Shirley Brazas (Rick) of Nacogdoches and Kathryn Yates (Darrel) of DeBerry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
