He was predeceased by: his parents, Truitt Dixon, Sr. and Wilmalene Dixon (Martin); his nephew Truitt "Trey" Dixon III; the mother of his children Carol Ann Phelps; and his close friends, Bill Conrad, Bill Spiller and J. W. "Lucky" Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Steven "Stevie" Martin Dixon, Jr. (Andrea Garner) of Pollok, Texas and Dena Kay Dixon of Woodlake, Texas; his grandchildren, Clayton Lane VanLeuven (Emily), Ryland Chance VanLeuven (Sarah Gossett) and Alexis Dixon; his great grandchildren, Blakely Ray and Miley Jo VanLeuven; his brother Truitt (Dixon, Jr.); and his nephew Shane Dixon.
