With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Willis (Lufkin, Texas), born in Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Dodds Willis and Stephen Bennett Willis; and his brother Bennett Willis. He is survived by: his wife Donna Willis; his children, David Willis (Amy) of Lufkin and Cindy Willis of Tyler, Texas; and his grandchildren, Willis and Katy Beth Willis of Lufkin. He is also survived by other relatives, and a host of friends.
