She is survived by: her parents, Marvin Ed Malnar of Dallas and Betty Faye Davidson (Porter) of Apple Springs, Texas; her husband Rodney Kitchens; her sons, Johnathan Douglas Myers of Diboll, Texas and William Lawrence; her daughter-in-law Tomoko Myers of Kyoto, Japan; her daughter Mamie Lucille; her son-in-law John Henry Gonzales, Jr. of Lufkin; her grandchildren, Jade Marie Gonzales of Lufkin, Jenna Nichole Gonzales of Lufkin, Jax Michael Gonzales of Lufkin, Jessica Lynn Gonzales of Lufkin, Julianna Rose Gonzales of Lufkin, Miko Lucille Myers of Kyoto, Japan, Manami Luna Myers of Kyoto, Japan, Trendon Lee Myers of Jasper, Texas and Charlett Jean Myers of Central, Texas; her siblings, Frankie (Carrie Strickland) of Pollok, Indy Jones of Houston and Angie; her brother-in-law G. R. Bliss of Tennessee; and her siblings, Malena Kay Grohman of Apple Springs, Texas and Eddie Malnar of Lufkin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353).
