It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Pierce of Lufkin, Texas, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Loretta Ware (Borst); and his parents-in-law, Ferry Palmer and Rebecca Ann Palmer. He is survived by: his parent Geral Wayne Pierce Sr.; his wife Dorothy Pierce of Lufkin; his children, Justin W. Pierce of Lufkin and Crystal Smith of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Madison, AdaLynn, David and Kimberlyn; his stepmother Della Pierce of Garden City, KS; his sister Brenda; his siblings-in-law, Terry Ware of Okmulgee, OK, Darren Palmer of Linden, TX, Barbie Palmer of Lufkin, TX and Dianne Palmer of Lufkin, TX; his nephews, Cameron Palmer of Ft. Benning, GA, John Robert of Arnold, MD and Christopher Palmer of Linden, TX; his aunts, Louise Wolfe of Colorado Springs, CO and Janette Whitman of Joplin, MO; Amanda, Aaron Murray of Okmulgee, OK, Amy, Trey Dickey of Henryetta, OK, Jacqueline, Jasper Evans of Wiltshire, UK, Haley and Dalton Alford of Conroe, TX. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
